- 2014Double Barrel Steakhouse. New name, new focus: hand-cut steaks and prime rib worth a drive.
- TodayCornie's place. Sole owner-manager, seating for 100, a casino room, Glacial Lakes Distillery on the bar, and a patio out front. Filtered water throughout — the coffee, the ice, and the tea all taste like it. People drive from 60 miles away for the steaks and the salad bar.
The drive is part of the meal.
Eighteen miles of Highway 212 from Watertown. People come from Redfield, Brookings, Aberdeen — a 60-mile radius. When you leave, you're already thinking about next time.
